Hello all, my name’s Nathalie. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Orlando. Like I mentioned on the home page, I’ve been braiding hair for a long while. It’s been my part-time/second job/hobby since…forever. I also work full time for a web hosting company (which is why my appointment times are very limited these days).

I started braiding my own hair back in middle school. Eventually, my friends were asking me to do theirs…and that’s where my semi-hair braiding career took off. I never thought of taking pictures and starting this web portfolio until maybe 1999 when I was braiding hair for a VERY picky friend of mine who wouldn’t allow me to do the same style on him twice (One of my first styles below)
I bumped into this gentleman like 6 years after I was braiding his hair and thanked him for pushing me so hard.

In the past, I would go through phases of braiding hair like crazy for about three months and then stopping for over a year….But when I was in college (Go KNIGHTS), I simply NEEDED THE $$$$ so I couldn’t take a break even if I wanted to. But after I graduated in 2005…people kept calling, so here I am, still working away.

I seriously love doing hair. I enjoy my clients, their interesting conversations, and I LOVE the way they look when they leave my home.

I’m dedicated to maintaining healthy, beautiful hair. No matter what the texture is.
